I'm expecting a baby and getting my master bedroom ready! We have a North-facing window in the room, and while the attached bathroom has an East-facing window that gets some morning light, I'm looking for plant recommendations. I'd love to create a calm vibe with greenery, especially something tall for next to the North-facing window. I could also use a grow light if necessary. Any suggestions?

One great tip is to use the app Photone to measure the actual light in your bedroom. If you find it's low light, consider using a grow light, which opens up so many more plant options! If you stick with just the North-facing window, you might struggle to find tall plants that thrive without that sunlight. Once you know your light levels, check out a reference for suitable plants based on those conditions!
Tall plants in low light can be tricky, but Monstera and Dumb Cane are good options that might survive. My top picks are actually Snake Plants or Spider Plants—they’ve thrived in every low-light situation I've tried. Good luck with your plant hunt!
That’s a good idea! I had a really tall snake plant at my old house that I gave away before I moved. I can put it in a tall container, too!! Thanks for the ideas!

This is super helpful!! Thanks ?
