What Plants Should I Add to My College Dorm Collection?

I'm living in a college dorm that has just one north-facing window. Currently, I have a pothos and a string of frogs growing under a grow light, but I'm eager to expand my plant collection. What are some good plants I can add to my setup?

Look for fellow plant lovers who can share cuttings or starts with you! Many houseplants will give you 'babies' to propagate. Also, Christmas or Thanksgiving cacti are great options too. They don’t have thorns and are really forgiving with care—just be careful not to overwater them! Water them about three days before they start to wrinkle to keep them happy.

A good quality grow light is a must if you want your plants to thrive! It makes a big difference, especially in a location with limited natural light.

I already have one and I'm excited because another one is arriving in the mail soon!

You should definitely try getting a spider plant! They're super easy to care for, propagate like crazy, and you can find them almost anywhere. Plus, they really help you make more plant pals since they love to produce 'babies'.
