What Router Bits Should I Use for My Puzzle Template?

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to using routers and I'm a bit lost when it comes to the right tools. I recently bought a puzzle template on Etsy, and it's 5 inches long on each side. I have a DeWalt 20V Max plunge router and a regular Ryobi router. Can anyone recommend which router bit or bushing I should use to get the best results? Thanks a ton for your help!

You'll want to use a spiral or straight bit that has either a top or bottom bearing. This setup will work great with your template. I found a helpful video that walks through the process of using router templates, check it out if you get a chance!

That sounds like a solid plan! I've used bearings before and they really help guide your cuts.
