What Should I Consider Before Remodeling My Bathroom?

I'm currently in the planning stages of my bathroom remodel and just found out that the glass tile I was planning to use is hard to clean and prone to breaking. Clearly, I was about to make a poor choice! I'd love some advice on what to consider and what others love or regret about their bathroom updates. Thanks a ton!

Lighting is key! I wish I had added more dimmable lights since my bathroom is pretty small. Adding multiple light sources and sconces around the mirror would have helped a lot. But I'm super happy with my tub over shower choice and having raised the shower head high. Also, make your niche as wide as possible!

Leave enough space between fixtures for ease of cleaning, especially if you’re using a robot vacuum. You don’t want to struggle to clean around everything! Also, if you're putting in a shower, make sure it’s roomy enough. I upgraded to a 31" wide shower and it has made all the difference.
