I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where my basement floods every time it rains, and it seems to be getting worse with each storm. Recently, water has even started pouring in through the door! I'm at a loss for where to start fixing this problem.

If you have a sump pump, definitely check if it's working. Since the flooding is a new issue for you, it's possible that the pump has gone bad or isn't keeping up with the water. Would adding a second sump pump near the door help? We already have one in the crawl space, but it might not be enough.
