Hey everyone! My tomato seedlings were thriving until I forgot to water them for a week. To compensate, I think I overwatered them this weekend, and now a few of the larger plants have leaves that are turning yellow. I'm wondering if this is due to the inconsistent watering and if they'll recover on their own. Should I just wait it out, or do I need to start over? Should I spray for any potential diseases? They're all on a plant rack in my home with heat pads and lights, and last year I was much better about keeping a consistent watering schedule.

It sounds like your seedlings are just going through a bit of shock from the inconsistent watering. If you're back to your regular watering schedule, they should bounce back fine! Just keep an eye on them. As for the yellow leaves, you can pinch them off if they look really bad, but they might still help the plant. Also, once the seedlings emerge, take those heat pads away to avoid stressing them out. Remember, tomatoes can withstand a bit of neglect; they’re pretty resilient!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll definitely take off the heat pads now. I appreciate your input!
