I hired a tub refinishing company, and they mistakenly worked on the wrong tub in the wrong bathroom. I followed their instructions and cleared out the correct bathroom, but this one was still full of my daughter's toys and other belongings. Now I'm worried—could anything in that bathroom be ruined because of the resurfacing?

I think the toys should be okay once you air them out. Most chemicals used for refinishing shouldn’t be in high enough concentrations to make them toxic. It’s definitely a good idea to find out what chemicals were used and maybe even check in with poison control just to be safe.
Was the tub refinishing done using a paint-on product? It’s pretty wild how they messed that up, honestly! Definitely sounds like a hefty mistake on their part.

Yeah, but I wouldn’t take any chances with small kids around.
