I recently had a contractor come by to install a self-leveler for my bathroom remodel. However, my wife noted that he was in and out in less than an hour and a half. After checking the product instructions, I found out that the primer should have dried for two hours before applying the leveler. I'm worried that this could lead to issues and may require redoing the entire process. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? What are the potential consequences here?

The material underneath matters! What was the subfloor? If it was concrete, then it might be okay, but you'll have to monitor it after it sets. If the primer is still somewhat tacky, it might lead to delamination or bubbles, but testing it later will give you the best insight.
I’ve seen cases where self-leveling material ends up curling at the edges if the primer isn't dried properly. I would definitely talk to your contractor for more details and maybe reach out to the manufacturer for their take on the situation.
