Hey everyone! I'm in the northeast, and the temperature is dropping to zero degrees tonight. I've recently planted some hardy perennials and a few delicate annuals that my toddler picked out, and I'm worried about the annuals. I'm pretty sure the perennials will be okay, but should I cover the annuals to keep them safe from the frost? I have some tarp and canes that I could use to create a cover. I probably should've waited to plant, but the nice weather got me excited!

I just picked up some horticultural fleece from Aldi, which works wonders for chilly nights! You might want to check local stores to grab some before it gets too cold. Also, I’m using some old fleece I found in my attic along with canes to cover my plants. It should keep them cozy!
Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to try that with what I have on hand. Fingers crossed it'll be enough!
