I'm a first-time homeowner and I'm having all 9 windows replaced in my small modular home. It's a one-day job, but since every room will be affected, I'm not sure what my role should be during the installation. Should I stay at home and watch the contractors, go out to a coffee shop, or just hang out in my living room? What's the best approach?

Definitely try to stay out of the way but stay on site. It's a good idea to be available for questions since you might have some ideas or concerns about the installation. Plus, snapping a few photos during the process can be fun and helpful for documenting the change!
I recommend hanging around but not hovering. You might want to keep an eye on things just in case something comes up, but it's helpful to let them work without distractions. You could even use another room to get some work done while being available for questions if they need you.
It's usually best to stay out of their way since it can get noisy and messy. Find something else to do, maybe go grab a coffee or run some errands. It'll make the process smoother for everyone.
