Hey everyone, I've got a contractor bag filled with tulips that were dug up during some landscaping work at my job. They typically throw these out after they bloom but before the foliage dies back. I'm wondering what the best way is to store them or if I should go ahead and re-plant them now to potentially get blooms next year. Will they even bloom again? Thanks!

You definitely hit the jackpot with those tulips! Make sure to send us some photos of what they look like next year!
You can definitely plant them right now! No need to wait until fall. Just be aware that they might take a year off from blooming or could even come back a different color, especially the more exotic types. Make sure to give them a sunny spot where water won’t accumulate. Honestly, you’ve got nothing to lose by planting them!
Thank you! Wow, a different color? I had no idea! Honestly, I don’t even know what color most of them are since the petals have dropped. But I have a west-facing slope that gets a lot of sun—sounds like a good spot!

Lol, thanks! I can’t believe these were all headed for the compost. It’s crazy that they buy tulips every year instead of replanting!
