Hey everyone, I have a bit of a question about dealing with weeds after I've sprayed them with weed killer. Last week, I went ahead and sprayed all the weeds, and it's worked really well—they're dead and yellow now. I'm wondering, do I just leave them there, or should I pull them out so my yard doesn't look so messy? It feels a bit pointless to have used weed killer if I still need to do some work myself.

If you have a few weeds here and there, mowing will take care of them without much hassle. But if it’s a lot of weeds, then it’s really up to you. What I usually do is just crush them underfoot if they’re dried out. That way, you won’t have to worry about the roots since they’re already dead.
I get where you're coming from! From my experience as a gardener, I usually wait a couple of weeks after spraying and then I just blow or rake away the dead weeds. They end up breaking down into the soil, which is kind of nice—you're adding a bit of free fertilizer back in. Just do whatever makes your yard look better for your next step!
Honestly, you might be better off just pulling the dead weeds out. While they do die and break down over time, leaving them can make your yard look a bit untidy. Plus, if you have a significant amount, it could attract certain pests. But if you prefer an easier route, just mowing over them might do the trick too, especially if you have a thick lawn that can handle it. They’ll just disappear once cut.
