I've just started my own garden this year, and I'm loving every minute of it! I've been growing everything in containers since I'm limited on space, but I plan to shift to in-ground gardening next year. What are the main differences I should be aware of when planning my garden and layout for in-ground planting?

Totally get the excitement of gardening! This year I switched to raised beds, and I'm checking on my plants multiple times a day! It’s been a fantastic mental health boost for me. If you're like me, you'll be even more thrilled about your plants next year!
Going in-ground can be easier in certain ways! You'll save on watering since the ground maintains moisture better, and you can space out your plants for optimal growth. Just keep track of your planting and harvest times—everything doesn’t mature at once! In my experience, leafy greens can be done by June, while root veggies finish up in early July as the peppers and sweet potatoes kick off. It's a whole rhythm to work with!

Right? Starting the day with garden visits feels amazing! Even in this heat, I find joy out there. Just wish I could spend more time with my plants!
