I'm diving into gardening this year after revamping my space with new hardscapes last autumn. I'm curious about what to plant in tall, narrow planters that get full sun this time of year. Ideally, I'd love to have a mixed planting, but I'm open to any ideas you might have!

It really depends on your preferences and how committed you are to watering. I tend to go for perennials with colorful leaves—Heuchera is a great option! Other easy-care plants like Hebe, Cineraria, and Verbena also do well and require minimal maintenance.

I already have quite a few Heuchera thriving now that it’s rained a bit! What's the care level like for Verbena?
