I recently decided to try container gardening but missed the chance to plant tomatoes this spring. Now, I'm looking to prepare for something I can start in June that will grow into the fall. As a complete beginner, I'm hoping to get some suggestions about what would be good to plant around that time.

In a hot climate like zone 10A, you really can’t plant fall crops in June since it's heading into the hottest months. Instead, it's better to wait until late September or October to plant those. However, you can still get summer crops in the ground now. Look for heat-tolerant plants to start this month!
I'm in zone 10a in Florida, and right now is a great time to start heat-loving crops that can carry you through to fall. I'm currently growing luffa, okra, peppers, and melons. Just make sure to choose varieties that thrive in the heat, and it’s not too late for summer planting yet!
