Hey everyone! I've recently started gardening, buying soil and seeds, and organizing everything in my yard. However, I've noticed that my hands get really dirty with soil, and my clothes are often stained. Right now, I just wear sneakers, sweatpants, and a jacket, which definitely isn't practical. I'm looking for suggestions on proper gardening attire. What do you all wear to keep clean while working in the yard?

Honestly, I don’t have any specific gardening clothes. Most of the time, I just wear whatever comfy old shorts and a t-shirt are handy. If things get sweaty or muddy, I just change when I come back inside. My motto is to not overthink it! Gardening is meant to be fun, not stressful!

Exactly! I often step outside for a quick break and end up doing some weeding or pruning too. I typically go for casual bottoms with a nicer shirt, but if my outfit survives the day, I’ll switch to something more comfy before tackling the dirt later on.
