Hey everyone! I'm a clothing designer looking to get creative and integrate some small electronics into my designs. I'm curious about what kinds of features would be useful for consumers without being overly gimmicky. For instance, I had the idea of a black-and-white LCD screen that displays the weather or moon phases. What do you think? Any other suggestions or experiences with this?

Honestly, a lot of people might view electronics in clothing as gimmicky since everyone already has smartphones and smartwatches that do a lot of those tasks. Instead, consider making the electrics more of a statement piece—like a Bluetooth-enabled LCD panel for displaying messages or cool LED designs. Go big on style! Also, choose clothing pieces that can be easily cleaned or those that aren’t washed frequently, like leather jackets or gloves, to avoid issues with maintenance.

I like the idea of a translucent LCD that creates optical illusions! Sounds unique and could definitely stand out!
