Hey everyone! I'm currently taking a biology class, and I have to do a science project. I'm looking for a small plant that I can grow from a seed. I'd love your suggestions! Sorry if this sounds silly, but I don't know much about plants. Thanks in advance for your help!

A smaller variety of daisy could work well for you. They're relatively easy to manage and look great!

Green beans are fantastic because they germinate and grow super quickly. Also, consider nasturtiums; just make sure to avoid the vining type if space is tight. If you're not using grow lights, check for plants that thrive in shade! Annuals grow much faster than perennials, which is perfect for a project.

You might want to try growing some herbs like basil or parsley. They’re small and can even be grown indoors, which makes them perfect for a science project! My vote's definitely for basil!

Yeah, basil is super fun to grow! It's also useful in cooking, so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor afterward.
