I've noticed that the grout in my shower is cracking. Should I be worried and fix this right away? Is there any way to tackle this while still being able to use the shower since it's the only one we have? Also, I have a row of small discs of tiles where the grout isn't in terrible shape, but I want to ensure it looks consistent. How should I go about removing and replacing the grout, and what's the best method for the tiles? Thanks!

Generally, your tile and grout aren’t the waterproof barrier, so you might be okay for a bit. But I wouldn’t let it wait too long; fixing it sooner rather than later is best to avoid bigger issues. As for replacing the grout, you can usually do it in sections. Just make sure to clean any loose bits before applying new grout. If you need the shower in the meantime, work on one side at a time and let it cure completely according to the grout instructions! Good luck!
Yeah, I agreed! Just don’t forget to seal it after applying the new grout; it’ll help protect against moisture.
