Hey everyone! My cat just stripped all the leaves off my Pachysedum 'Ghanzou,' leaving me with only a bare stalk and a bunch of leaves. I heard that I should put cinnamon on the ends of the leaves to help them callous, then lay them in some soil. I'm unsure though—should I use damp soil or dry? And what can I do with the bare stalk? Any tips would be great! On a side note, it's probably for the best since it got a bit leggy during the winter.

I usually propagate the leaves in dry soil. You could also just put them back in the original pot. Just make sure to keep watering the stalk a bit, but do it less than usual. It should start to grow offsets soon!
Cinnamon isn’t really necessary for propagation, but if you’re worried about bacteria from your cat, you could rinse the leaves with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and then wash them with water. Make sure they’re completely dry before you lay them on soil and just let them do their thing; they'll root eventually!

Yeah, that’s true! I’ve heard about using cinnamon, but it can be pricey, so if you can skip it, that’s great. LOL.
