I recently had river rock landscaping done at my house, but I realized too late that I selected the wrong size—river rock #4, which is pretty large, and we absolutely hate how it looks. I don't want a refund since I signed off on everything, but now I'm stuck wondering what to do next. Should I dig it up on my own or reach out to the landscaper for a quote to fix it? They didn't do anything wrong; I just made some poor choices. Also, my house is brick red with black accents, and I thought the black rock would complement it, but the outcome is not what I expected. I have about 10-12 yards of this stone, and I was thinking maybe I could move it to the back where it's mostly wooded. What would you guys suggest?

First off, definitely reach out to your contractor. Removing that size of stone can be a pain, and they might have the right tools to do it efficiently.
