I accidentally ended up with 66 basil plants after sowing them, and now I'm stuck! I don't have the budget for soil and pots for all of them. Would it be silly to put 5 in separate pots and then cram the rest into a big pot? I know they won't do as well together, but I'm not sure what to do since getting a large outdoor planter isn't an option due to a snail problem. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, it’s okay to let some of them go! You definitely don’t have to keep all 66. Just thinning them out might relieve some of the pressure you’re feeling.
But it’s so sad! 😢 Thanks for the suggestion though, I might have to do that.
