I've got a ton of pears this year, and while my kids love them dried, I don't know what else to do with all these fruits. Should I can them, make jelly, or maybe give some to the deer? What are my best options here?

You could definitely feed them to local wildlife, but why not share the love with your neighbors and friends? Only can the pears that you and your family will realistically eat and can store appropriately. Don't let them go to waste!
