What Tools Do I Need to Build a DIY Media Wall?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to tackle a DIY project to create a media wall, and I could really use some advice on the tools I'll need for this job. So far, I've thought of a table saw, different types of drills, and a plaster mixer, plus a hammer and some other basics. I'm hoping to turn this into a weekend side gig for some extra cash, so any tips you have would be greatly appreciated!

A media wall sounds like a fun project! While a table saw can be convenient, I wouldn't say it’s essential. A circular saw with a guide can do the trick just fine. For your plaster mixer query, you might actually just need attachments for your drill to mix the plaster. Don't forget, you'll also need tools for spreading and sanding the plaster once you're done. Just a friendly heads up: it’s probably a good idea to practice on your own space before taking on a client's project, right?

Totally agree! It's wise to try it out at home first. My friend's got a spare room too that I’m planning to remodel before taking on bigger jobs.

What do you mean by a media wall? If you could, share some links to examples because it sounds like a term that’s not widely used here in the US. Also, it seems like you're really focused on getting the right tools, which is super important. Have you looked into what the pros are charging in your area? They often have some solid advice too!

Here's a sample I found: https://www.installdecor.co.uk/media-walls/warwickshire. This should give you a better idea of what I mean!
