I recently purchased some Forge batteries but they're just sitting around unused. I'm considering returning one or both of them to invest in another tool. I already have a dedicated 12.0 Forge for my blower and two 6.0 HO batteries for my track saw. What tools do you guys use the Forge batteries with, and do you think the 12.0 has any significant advantage over the 8.0?

I use Forge batteries for all my high-demand outdoor power equipment. They're a game changer for performance, especially when power is crucial.
If those batteries are just collecting dust, I say return them! Unless you really need multiple batteries, it's better to focus on getting more tools instead. I bought a couple of extras for my circular saw but ended up with a track saw instead. Seems like the Forge batteries excel with outdoor power tools.
If I had the 12.0 Forge, I'd definitely want to use it with my 2.5-gal fuel vacuum for the extended run time and better performance. My current batteries sometimes cause it to derate before reaching full power. I’d also try it on my Hole Hawg for a boost—it's been underwhelming so far. Outdoor gear is a great match too, although I don’t have any yet.

I actually bought the M12 vacuum but returned it right away. I've been hesitant about Milwaukee's vacuums, but I'm thinking about saving for their new dust collector that's supposed to come out.
