Another good choice would be a bifold door. They can fit the space nicely and open up without taking up too much room.
It seems like there's already a ceiling track in there for sliding bypass doors, which would be the easiest option. Have you thought about going with that?
I'd recommend sliding mirror doors if you want something chic. They can help make the space look bigger while also being functional.
