I've been a bit neglectful with my two Monstera plants in small pots, but of course, they're thriving! I'm planning to repot them and support their growth. So, I'm wondering, does it have to be a moss pole for the roots to attach properly? Or can I use a bamboo structure instead? I've seen some nice bamboo supports online that I'd like to try for training my plants. Thanks in advance!

For the roots to really attach well, you need humidity and moisture. If you're not using a moss pole, anything else might not hold enough moisture for the roots to cling to it effectively.
Another option could be something with a bit of texture, like bark. It would take some effort to get the plant's roots attached, though, so just be prepared for that! It could definitely be a labor of love.
