While repotting some cucumber seedlings, I was blown away by how amazing cucumber roots smell! It was such a delightful surprise that I thought if I could make a perfume out of it, I'd totally wear it. I'm curious about what other interesting (or even weird) scents you all have encountered while gardening. What are your favorites?

I once made my own fertilizer from weeds, but let me tell you, it smells like something straight out of a toilet! Definitely was a unique olfactory experience, haha!

Delightfully so?

I've never actually sniffed a cucumber before, but now I'm totally tempted to! I might just have to go give my plants a good whiff to see what I’m missing.

There’s something about primroses that’s so gentle and sweet. If you get the chance, definitely take a deep breath of those when they’re blooming!

Tomato leaves have a pretty distinctive scent! Plus, you can't beat the smell of nettle flowers on a hot summer day. It just feels so alive outside when that happens!
