What Veggies Can I Grow When I Move In This August?

Hey everyone! I'm about to close on a charming little house with a nice tiered backyard that I'd like to use for gardening. My ex and I had a garden a few times during our 16 years together, so I'm not a total newbie, but I certainly don't have much experience. Since I'll be moving in around mid-August, I'm wondering what vegetables I can try growing now, or if I should just wait until next year. Any advice would be appreciated!

You can definitely plant some fall crops! Check out your local extension for tailored resources—they usually have tons of great info on what to grow in your area! For instance, the Penn State extension has a planting guide that might help you out.

Thanks! I actually pass by the PSU extension every day when I go to work!
