What Wildflowers Are Best for DIY Confetti?

I'm planning my wedding for next year and I've started dehydrating flowers from my mum's garden to use as confetti. I heard that wildflowers could make great options, but I'm not super experienced with gardening. Could anyone recommend some good wildflower varieties? I'd ideally prefer perennial types, but I'm open to any suggestions. Plus, I'd love flowers that not only look great for the wedding but also help out the bees!

Cornflowers are a fantastic pick! They retain their color really well when dried. You might also want to check out Sweet Williams and wallflowers; they have nice petal sizes for confetti and come in a range of colors. Violas look beautiful once dried too, though they can require a bit more effort to dry. Roses are a traditional option, but if you don't have many bushes, you could look for dogroses growing wild to harvest from!

This sounds great, thank you! I have a dehydrator function on my air fryer that helps speed up the drying process. We have a small rose bush from when we moved in, but it doesn't produce many flowers, so I want to add more to the garden. We also have lavender that attracts bees, but I’d like more variety to bring in even more!
