My saw setup means the workbench needs to sit close to the wall and be about 38 inches deep, so I won't be able to reach the wall easily. What would be useful back there, if anything?
What would you put on the wall behind a deep workbench?

I'd treat that space as a place for things that stay put, not everyday tools. Outlets, a dust-collection hose hook, or a speaker could make sense, as long as they don't interfere with the saws or anything you need to handle while working. For electrical changes, plan the layout with a qualified electrician.

Honestly, leaving it mostly empty is a perfectly useful choice. A pegboard you can't comfortably reach is likely to become annoying, and storing scrap back there could turn into a game of pulling everything out. Put frequently used tools somewhere reachable and use the wall for only occasional or fixed items.

If you want storage there, think of it as a shallow, fixed zone for bulky or rarely needed things, not a cabinet full of small supplies. Another option is a movable tool panel or cart that you can bring forward when needed. Check that anything overhead leaves safe clearance around the saws and stock.
