I'm new to hiring out for drywall repairs and could use some advice. I have a handyman coming over today to fix a few holes in my drywall, but I have no clue what the going rate should be. Specifically, I need repairs done on two AC drops, three 10" round skylight openings, and a 2x2ft hole I accidentally made with my leg! All of this work is on a 10ft ceiling, and I'm located in the Dallas area. Just a heads-up, I won't need any painting or texturing done.

It’s really variable based on where you are. If you’re looking at places like rural Mississippi, you might see rates around $25 an hour, but metropolitan areas like California or New York could go over $200. Since you're in Dallas, I'd recommend calling around to get at least three quotes to understand the going rate better.
The cost really depends on a few factors. If you're not looking for any painting or texture, that simplifies things! Generally, it can range quite a bit depending on the location. In areas like Dallas, you might expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $100 an hour for a good handyman. Getting a couple of quotes before your guy arrives is a smart move, so you can gauge what’s reasonable for your specific repairs.
