What’s a Fair Price for Jointed and Sanded White Oak Slabs?

I'm looking to sell some white oak that I've jointed, planed, and sanded. Can anyone share what the typical price per board foot is for these types of slabs? Also, I'm trying to clear out some space as I'm shifting my focus away from woodworking and into mechanics. Any insights on pricing would be appreciated!

In my neck of the woods, quartersawn S2S White Oak goes for about $10-14 per board foot, though it fluctuates with market conditions. Definitely scout out your local suppliers and see if there's demand for S4S or sanded pieces. By the way, why are you stepping away from woodworking?

Honestly, I think people underestimate woodworking. I'm also getting back into mechanic work and want to clear out my shop space. Too much wood in the way!

Prices can really depend on your local area. If you're selling locally, it's best to check local lumber prices. Online is another route, just look up what's out there for jointed and sanded white oak.
