What’s a Fair Price to Rent a Shop for a Day?

Hey everyone! I'm quite new to the world of crafting and making stuff, and I'm looking to rent a workspace for my projects since I live in an apartment and can't fit big machines. I've seen day rates for these spaces ranging from $100 to $500 in my area (Los Angeles). I'm comfortable spending around $250, especially if I can make some sales from what I create. What do you think is a reasonable price to pay for a workspace like this?

You might want to consider getting a monthly membership at a maker space. It’s usually more economical in the long run unless you rarely work on projects. Just a heads up, if you're planning to sell your creations, keep in mind that overhead costs can eat into your profits, so it's worth weighing your options.
