As July rolls in, many of my plants are ready for harvest, including potatoes, broccoli, carrots, snow peas, and red beets. This has left me with a significant amount of empty space in my garden, as about a third of it is now bare. I'm planning to sow some kale and bok choy, but I'm looking for more ideas on what else I could plant. Should I go ahead and sow a second batch of snow peas and carrots, or do you have other suggestions?

I just began my first garlic planting, and let me tell you, it’s smelling fantastic! I'm really excited about it, even though it's my first attempt. Have you ever tried growing garlic? It seems pretty rewarding!
Right now, I'm focusing on my fall crops! I've started sowing brassicas and lettuce indoors to get a jump on things. It’s a great way to prepare for the upcoming season, especially with the heat affecting outdoor planting. What about you?
I’m a bit behind the curve due to the heat, but I managed to plant cucumbers and squash where my beans were. I also have plans for more beans since the heat has been tough on my seedlings. Keep the ideas coming; it’s inspiring to see what everyone else is doing!
That’s smart! I’ve got some cucumbers on the go too, but I worry about disease, so I’m keeping a close eye on them.

Garlic is on my wish list! I'd love to know how yours turns out! What tips do you have for a first-timer?
