I'm trying to decide which battery to use for my Milwaukee heated hoodie. Should I go for the slimmer CP 3.0 or stick with the 2.5 High Output (HO) option? What do you guys think?

I've found that the app-controlled battery is the way to go! It lets you adjust heat levels for different zones from 1-10 or set a timer instead of just the basic 3 options. Plus, it’s slim so you won’t even feel it when you sit down, which is super convenient!
The High Output (HO) battery isn't really necessary for the hoodie. You'll use up battery cycles too quickly, which is a bummer. There’s also an adapter that lets you use a slimmer battery bank which might last longer—definitely worth considering!
For heated gear, you really don’t need the High Output battery at all. Just stick with a regular option and you should be good!
Honestly, I’d recommend going for the highest amp hour (AH) battery that fits in the pocket. I used a standard 1.5 battery in my hoodie and it worked fine, but I think the CP 3.0 would be your best bet for a slimmer option. Just get that extra capacity if you can!
I’ve been using the CP 1.5 and 2.0 batteries since around 2011. It usually takes me two batteries for a full day. But after I switched to the newer M18 with a smaller battery, my results improved a lot. The older models had the batteries placed on your lower back, which was really uncomfortable when sitting. Definitely look into the newer options if comfort matters!
