What’s the Best Brand of Secateurs for Gardening?

I'm looking to upgrade my secateurs since the cheap ones I have are on their last legs. Is there a specific brand or model that you all swear by?

If you're looking for something that lasts, Felco is the way to go. They offer different styles to suit your handling preferences, and you can easily replace parts over time. You're basically investing in a tool for life!

For work, I use Darlac secateurs, which are pretty similar to Felco but cost about a third of the price. They perform well, so I’d recommend them if you don’t want to spend too much!

I swear by Felco secateurs! They can be a bit pricey, usually around £50-£60, but they're definitely worth it for their durability. You're making a long-term investment here!

That price range sounds doable. I saw some going for over £100, but I’m not ready to drop that much just yet! We garden almost daily, and it feels like spending that much is a lot! ?
