What’s the Best Contractor Table Saw in France?

Hey there! I'm looking to buy my first table saw since I'm excited to dive into making some furniture at home. I've been soaking up woodworking videos for a few months, and I feel ready to invest in a decent tool. My approach is to go for quality right from the start, so I want to avoid cheap models that might cause more frustration than they're worth. Initially, I thought about the Dewalt DWE7492, but its size and noise levels made me reconsider. Now, I'm leaning towards getting an entry-level contractor table saw. However, I'm located in France, and it seems like the market here is quite different from that in the US. In the US, there are plenty of options across a wide price range, while in Europe, there seems to be a huge gap in availability and pricing, especially when looking for a good contractor saw like Delta. Are there really no decent options here around €700, or am I just not looking in the right places? Why does this market disparity exist?

You should also consider the Hammer series from Felder. They've got a new model, the K2, which could be a good fit and is priced below €2000. It might be a bit high but offers great quality if you can stretch your budget a bit.

I appreciate the suggestion! Unfortunately, that’s still over my budget; I was hoping to find something in the €800 to €1000 range.

You might want to check out some options like the AW254TS or Holzmann TS200; they’re among the more popular choices over here. The Laguna Fusion 1 is also a solid saw, though it’s a bit pricey. Have you considered looking for second-hand options? Sometimes you can find a good deal on a quality saw if you keep an eye out.

Thanks for the tips! The AW254TS looks a bit small for my needs, and while the Holzmann is spacious, I've heard mixed reviews about its build quality. The Laguna is nice, but way above my budget. As for second-hand saws, I’ve seen a lot of rusty old units that just don’t seem worth the money.
