What’s the Best Deal for a 60V Circular Saw and Batteries?

I'm interested in purchasing a 60V circular saw, but I don't currently own any 60V batteries since this will be my first one. I noticed that Acme has a kit with one battery priced at $400, or I could get two batteries for $550. I'm looking for advice on whether this is the best deal available or if I should wait for next month's sales around Black Friday and Cyber Monday in hopes of finding a better price.

When choosing between models, some folks prefer the 578 sidewinder, while others like the 577 rear handle. It's really down to what feels comfortable for you to use. My brother swears by the 575—definitely worth checking out.

Keep an eye on holiday sales and see if you can get price matching at places like Home Depot or Lowe’s. They often have promotions like 'buy a tool, get a battery free.' I personally got a great deal on a worm drive for $180 during a sale on Woot!

Consider looking for a single sidewinder tool; I've seen them going for around $179 when you return the battery. Also, check Facebook Marketplace—sometimes you can snag one for $150. If you're open to experimenting, you might try a 60V knockoff from Amazon for about $40 just to tide you over until better sales come around.

From my experience, the best times to buy these saws are around Black Friday or Christmas. Last year, I got a bundle that included a 9Ah battery and the saw for about $300. Keep an eye out for those sales when they advertise 'buy the bare tool and get a battery for free'—it often starts before the actual holiday and runs a bit longer too!
