Hey everyone! I'm looking to get the best and most powerful Dewalt battery drill specifically for roofing tasks. Also, I've heard some drills come with interchangeable heads while others don't—what's the real difference between these types?

For roofing, I'd recommend checking out the DCD1007 model. It's known for its power and reliability! As for the heads, the ones with interchangeable heads allow you to use different bits for various tasks, which can be super versatile. The newer models like the DCD803 don’t include this feature, but they might still pack a punch for specific uses.
I agree with HandyDude77. The DCD1007 is a solid choice for roofing. The main difference in having a changeable head is that it gives you more flexibility since you can easily switch out bits. If you're frequently switching between tasks, that feature would be worth it.
