I'm trying to hang a magnetic knife strip, but I have to admit I'm not very handy. I've struggled using the basic plastic drywall anchors and only managed to make holes in the wall. I recently saw a fancy drywall anchor on YouTube that looked really easy to use, but I can't remember what it was. Can anyone recommend the easiest and most effective type of drywall anchor for someone who's pretty clumsy?

For light work, you can't go wrong with the tornado-shaped anchors! I've found the metal ones are totally superior to the plastic types. They're super easy to use and really secure.
Exactly! They feel secure to me, and taking them out later is a breeze—no major damage to the wall.
If possible, always try to hit a stud when hanging anything heavy. It’s the most secure option you can get.
You might want to check out E-Z Anchors! They're really user-friendly since they drill their own holes and have threads that grip the drywall. Plus, you don’t even need a drill—just use a screwdriver! If you want something stronger, toggle anchors might be the way to go, but they do require larger holes.
Yep, E-Z Anchors are fantastic! And toggles are definitely stronger but a bit more involved.
Don't underestimate yourself! With a little practice, you’ll get the hang of it. Consider trying Toggle Bolts; they’ve got a spring mechanism that makes them pretty easy to use, plus they work well for heavier stuff too. Just drill a hole, pop them through, and screw them in!

Absolutely! Those anchors are great for beginners. I've been using them for years, and they save so much hassle, no need to switch drill bits—just one and done!
