I've been struggling with a garbage disposal in my home because someone just doesn't seem to understand that they aren't invincible! Over the past eight years, we've gone through three different disposals. Right now, there's something stuck that's preventing it from working properly. I can manually spin the disposal, but it jams up again almost immediately. I've even removed it to try to clear out whatever is blocking it, but I can't get to it.
I'm wondering if there's a garbage disposal model out there that's essentially foolproof or built to handle tough situations. Ideally, I want something that can deal with things like broken glass or tough food waste without getting clogged. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you thought about just putting your garbage in the trash instead? It might be more straightforward than relying on a disposal that can jam up frequently!
Honestly, you might want to think about removing the garbage disposal altogether. The only people who really like them are those who don’t have to fix them all the time!
