What’s the Best Houseplant Find from a Grocery Store?

I'm curious to hear about your experiences with houseplants you've purchased from grocery stores or other random places that ended up thriving beyond your expectations. For example, I once bought a nearly dead snake plant from Walmart, and now it's a huge, thriving beauty in my room! What about you guys?

Chinese evergreens are super easy to care for! They tend to thrive in various conditions, which is awesome.

Scored a monstera at Trader Joe's, and it has flourished since I brought it home. I also got a PPP and a rubber tree from there that are thriving—definitely recommend checking it out!

I've never bought plants from TJs, but I'll have to check it out next time!

I bought an orchid from Kroger a year and a half ago, and it’s still alive and even blooming! We often forget about it, and it still rewards us!

Five years ago, I bought a tiny jade cutting outside of Kroger, and now it's about 2 feet tall and wide! It's also propagated tons of new jades, which I gave away. It's rewarding to see how far it’s come!

I rescued a clearance monstera from Target, and I'm happy to report it’s now recovering well and thriving!

Last year, I grabbed a sad-looking orchid on clearance for just $5 from the grocery store. After giving it some extra care, it bloomed beautifully, and I couldn't be happier! Check out the transformation after a year!

I found a tiny dracaena marginata at a dollar store over 20 years ago. It was just three inches tall, but now it’s taller than I am and still thriving! It's been quite the journey.

I picked up a small Philodendron mamei from my local grocery store for about 12 euros. I had no clue what I was getting myself into, but it's turned into a gorgeous crawler over the year!
