I'm looking for recommendations on effective paint strippers for metal, specifically because I'm working on a radiator that's full of grooves. I initially thought about using a scraper, but that just feels too tedious for this job! Any suggestions?

I've had great luck with Citristrip on metal surfaces. I used it on some old hinges that had been painted over for decades, and it did an excellent job! Just a tip – I found out after my project that wrapping the painted parts in cling wrap helps it work even better. Next time, I'll definitely do that, but I was still really pleased with the results I got.
For something really strong, I recommend SmartStrip. It's honestly the best paint stripper I've ever used! It holds well, so it doesn’t drip and makes it super effective, especially for intricate areas like a radiator. It's like frosting for paint! Totally worth trying out.
If you're looking for a more professional solution, you might want to consider hiring someone who does dry ice blasting. We had it done at work, and it strips paint off metal without causing any harm to the metal itself. It leaves everything looking brand new, and avoids the issues some harsh chemicals can cause. Just a thought!
