I've got a ton of healthy houseplants, but since last fall, I've been struggling with a fungus gnat problem. I'm looking for recommendations on effective indoor pesticides to tackle these pests while I also take preventive measures. Does anyone have a go-to solution?

You can use Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis, which is found in products like Gnatrol or mosquito dunks. It's a soil-dwelling bacteria that targets certain insect larvae but is safe for humans and pets, so it’s a solid choice!
For fungus gnats, you definitely want to try a larvicide. Gnatrol is awesome! It usually costs around $17 for a 3.2oz bottle, which can last you up to three years. I've had great results with it, and I swear by its effectiveness!
I've been using hydrogen peroxide in my potting soil, especially when I introduce new plants. It's been working pretty well for controlling pests and fungus!
I tried peroxide for a couple of weeks. Maybe I wasn't doing it right, but I think I'm going to need to go with the big guns.
On it! Thank you thank you!
