What’s the Best Place to Buy Specific Wildflower Seeds?

I'm looking for recommendations on where to buy a specific type of wildflower seed—specifically, I want to find a place that sells individual seed types rather than those big mixes you often find at garden centers. I noticed that individual types usually come in small packets with just a few hundred seeds, which isn't quite what I'm after. Also, I'm curious about how many seeds I should plant for oxeye daisies in a space that's 2 meters by 1 meter. Thanks in advance for your help!

There are quite a few online stores that specialize in wildflower seeds. Just do a quick search! But keep in mind, it’s a bit late in the year for sowing. Ideally, you want to do it in the fall (September/October) or in the spring (March to May).

I'm thinking of waiting until September; should I choose autumn or spring? What do you all think?

I’ve had good luck with Emorsgate Seeds; they focus on native wildflower varieties. You can check them out at wildseed.co.uk. For sowing oxeye daisies, a standard guideline is about 1 gram per square meter, but that could vary if you plan to mix them with other plants.

Sounds like a plan! I'll look into it.

I can vouch for Emorsgate too; they really provide great sourced seeds!
