Two watermelon plants could comfortably fit in a 20-gallon grow bag. It's crucial to give them room to spread out. I’ve actually tried using different sizes and found that the bigger, the better for melons. Just make sure they get enough sunlight and water—these guys love it!
For your watermelons, I recommend using at least a 20-gallon grow bag. That should give them enough space to spread out and thrive. As for the tomatoes, you can usually get away with 5 to 10 gallons per plant, but if they’re indeterminate, a bigger pot is better for support and root growth!
