I'm getting back into woodworking and have a nice little collection of tools, including a Sawstop CTS table saw, a Dewalt 12" miter saw, a drill, a driver, a trim router, and a circular saw. Right now, I'm stuck using a folding card table and the ground for my projects, which isn't safe or efficient. My tools are scattered, living in their original bags or on a shelf my landlord built. I'm trying to figure out which pieces of shop furniture to tackle first. I'm currently designing a mobile miter station/tool cart, considering a workbench with dog holes and a vise, and thinking about a table saw station/outfeed table combo. If you have experience, what should I prioritize building first?

I can't stress this enough: a solid workbench is a game changer. It’ll teach you so much about your tools. Check out Rex Kruger’s videos for tips on different workbench styles; they're super helpful!
Definitely go for a workbench! It should be sturdy and big enough to handle your projects, plus a flat top is essential. If you can, try a torsion box design with plywood for extra stability.

I’ve been binge-watching his stuff too! I’m thinking of refurbishing some vintage planes instead of splurging on a planer for my garage.
