I'm looking to grow some shrubs from seeds for my garden and would love to hear any recommendations for varieties that are easy to grow. Any suggestions on where I can purchase seeds online would also be appreciated!

You could definitely try growing something like laurel or go for a native plant variety. They tend to do well and often require less care. Just keep in mind that taking cuttings is usually the easiest route for most shrubs.
Most folks usually don’t grow shrubs from seeds because it takes quite a while for them to really grow big enough. If you want to jumpstart your garden, you might want to consider cuttings instead; they grow faster. If you still want to try seeds, lavender and some small herbs are really popular! A good place to check out for seeds is Chiltern Seeds.
Honestly, rooting from cuttings is going to be much easier than starting from seed for most shrubs. You can find small starter plants in shops for pretty cheap as well. For example, buddleia is everywhere and super easy to grow. Just don’t plant it too close to your house!
