What’s the Best Small Indoor Flowering Plant for Beginners?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on small indoor flowering plants that are perfect for a total beginner like me. I've never gardened before, but I really want to give it a shot. I don't have a lot of space, so something easy to care for would be ideal. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

If you're considering something different, Christmas cacti are a great option too! They flower every year and just need to be kept away from too much sunlight. I got mine back in uni, and many years later, I still have cuttings from it. Echeveria and aloe vera can flower as well, but it might take a little while after getting them.

I totally recommend getting a spider plant or a peace lily! Spider plants can produce cute little white flowers and are super easy to care for. Plus, they start making 'babies' that you can propagate into new plants. On the other hand, peace lilies are also fantastic for beginners; they usually come with one or two flower stems and are pretty hard to kill. Both are undemanding and really forgiving!

Absolutely! I lean towards peace lilies myself. They're literally impossible to kill! I just separated mine and ended up with 30 baby plants to share!
